Lisa & RobTheir Chosen Charity - The Association Of Children's Hospices will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Since September 2007 Cosatto “Baby Stuff with Personality" is very proud to be committed to raising money for the Association of Children’s Hospices. As the voice of Children's hospices, the association supports hospices throughout the UK and the children and families who use them. To date the company have raised a whopping £5,000 for charities through everything from parachute jumps (madness!) to raffles and internal competitions.

Inspired by this amazing charity, Lisa Joyce, Cosatto’s Group Range & Brand Manager and her lovely partner Rob Dutfield felt they needed to do more.  They have decided to do a bike ride, but not just any old bike ride; the nutters are cycling from John O'Groats to Lands End!!

'We love a challenge and they don’t come much bigger than this road trip!  It's about 1000 miles (or there abouts!).'

It’s quite straight forward - or straight down depending on how you look at it, no bus, car, train, tractor or other forms of transport just our legs and a random tandem!'

'We’re asking if anyone sees us en route they snap a picture and upload to our site right here! For every picture received Cosatto will donate 50p to the charity!'   Cosatto will also donate a further 25% of monies raised. 'We will cycle none stop for 14 days and average about 65/70 miles a day, on our first day we’ll cycle 80 miles and on our easiest day we’ll travel about 35 miles!  We’ll see some of the most beautiful areas of the Great British Isles - including the Highlands of Scotland including the Isle of Arran, The Lakes, Cheddar and the rugged coastline of Cornwall.

"Both of us lived close to a Children’s Hospice when we were growing up, raising money at school and taking part in various fundraising activities. Hospices are poorly funded by the government and rely so much on charitable donations and fundraising events. It was an easy choice for us when we were deciding which charity to raise funds for!"

Barbara Gelb, Chief Executive for the Association of Children's Hospices, said: "We rely heavily on the generosity of individuals like Lisa and Rob and charitable donations from organisations like Cosatto to support the vital work of children's hospices throughout the UK. By sponsoring these intrepid cyclists you'll be supporting children who are not expected to reach adulthood and their families."

Please visit www.childhospice.org.uk for more information and details of the charity’s work and please, dig deep and sponsor us as much as you can... and if you see us, snap a picture!!

Many thanks for your support.
Lisa & Rob
